sometimes they were very tired after a day at preschool...and after reading the Octonauts book, had to wear goggles. it was a great bribery tool for a while...or actually, a game to play that made them get into the car and buckled and all that jazz...
last sledding. it only snowed a few times this year! this is on the golf course behind our house.

a beautiful spring hike where the ice made us forge pathways through the woods. wish i had brought the sled to sled down. zoey was a trooper. sophia was too, but had to turn back when it got a bit too treacherous.

and then during that week of summer that basically made me really happy, then ended, making me really depressed!!!, we went to the playground a LOT.
and had the first (soy) ice cream of the summah. the hats were only necessary to keep the fine baby hairs from getting into the snack, which would have not bothered sophie a bit, but would have driven zoey insane.
somewhere in there we made a leprechaun hotel (we don't try and trap them). as you may have heard, the leprechaun came, ate the chocolate chips in the treasure chest, and slept on the loft after having a dance party down in the living/sleeping/pooping room. he also left some skittles in the toilet, and some junior mints in thanks for a good night at the hotel.

i have wanted one of these since i was a kid. play doh dentist set!!! zoey claims she wanted one for christmas but santa did not deliver. i'm thinking she may have my and her wishes confused. still, she loved it as much as i still do.
