one ballerino with zombie tenancies (yes he plays zombie, henry is so cool!)
i'd rather have a car than not. i'd like to say that being forced to find fun where i hadn't before (like in the empty cold snowy field across the street) was a welcomed change, but i feel more accomplished than satisfied. i feel that i accomplished creating fun and diversity (around the dvd watching) in a manner that kept zoey and i from completely loosing our minds, while we were without a vehicle. i feel it was more of a survival tactic. however, it is really nice to be reminded to appreciate the little things, like the city bus, smelly and useful, or the local library story half hour, which was our major outing of the week. the love of good friends coming to pick us up, giant car-seat and all, to go to building 19. being forced to enjoy what is around me is always a good thing, because i'm always looking for the next good thing. maybe it's just my personality. that's why i love camping so much. although slowing down is very hard for me, it is an incredibly wonderful peace.
