first day of 2nd year

yes, i'm that far behind. so goes life. these are pictures from her first day of her second year of life. a couple things have changed since she was born. she can see us now, for one. i of course have forgotten all the things i think of while nursing her...this is why baby books usually don't make it past 6 months or so. at least i imagine that's why. zoey is a precious princess. she loves to give hugs. she gets mad when she doesn't get what she wants.

it is her 13th month as i write this, and now she can walk! (pictures coming soon) she growls when she doesn't get what she wants. she also scratches us, and pinches on purpose, but not often. she likes to lie down on floors kitchen, or bamboo mostly, and she puts her cheek down. she also pushes herself backwards along the floor, sliding on her belly. she's a climber, recently climbing on a cute little chair my mom got her. i turned around, and she was standing on the chair with a foot up on the arm! it was that fast.

sleep is still an issue.
