pictures. LOTS of pictures

these are from the second half of february, and i take less pictures than i did in her first few months of life! we're sick of winter clothes here, so zoey and i are lucky to be headed to florida to visit mimi this tuesday. it's hard to fit the munch in her carseat with her poofy clothing.

she's had her first sled ride. eric strapped her in her baby sled, walked her to the top of the yard, and let her go, toward me while i held the video camera, and still camera of course. she has no expression the way down the hill (going so fast i was worried, but i was brave) and got to me without a hitch. no smiling, not unhappy though either. fun and funny for us. she was observing everything. the diaper only pictures are pre bathtime which is her absolute favorite time of day. she was holding her favorite story book. Skippyjon Jones Opposites. it's the only book she'll sit still for at this point. she loves skippito.

zoey has been waking up every hour to two hours after eric and i get to bed, around 10pm which is too late, but we are stupid and want our quiet time. i think she might be waking up so much because of new foods. she has the cheerios and also some pears now. then again, she sleeps like an angel from 7-11pm. cest la vie.

within the last two days she has successfully mastered getting around the room by scooting backwards and turning sideways on her belly. she reminds me of an iguana, especially when she shakes her head back and forth. she bops and shakes her head when i sing, "my my my my my boogie shoes..." (don't know the title to the old song) to her. it's cute. she's so round and cute we almost die of love when we look at her.

she will be 8 months old in two days!
